Crop Technology Day 

 

The IBSS Partnership in cooperation with Genera Energy, Inc., will host a Crop Technology Day event. The event will be held on January 20, 2015 at the Color Wheel Farm (2632 Niles Ferry Rd., Vonore, TN 37885), and will feature on-farm demonstrations of energy crop harvesting as well as an unmanned aerial vehicle presentation.

The event begins at 1 p.m. and is scheduled to run until 4 p.m. The field day will include presentations and equipment demonstrations from New Holland and John Deere. The field day and the demonstration is open to the general public.

There is no cost to attend the event, but participants are required to pre-register at least one week prior. To register, please email your name, affiliation (producer, business or agency name), and contact information (mailing address, phone, and email address) to Jessica McCord at jfox16@utk.edu or by calling 865-974-7370 and providing that same information. You may register multiple individuals, but please provide the requested information for each person. Please indicate during registration whether special accommodations will be needed for persons with limited mobility.
