Biobased Products and Energy Center at Oklahoma State University Offers Summer Undergraduate Research Experience Program

Applications are being accepted for the 2016 National Science Foundation's Research Experience for Undergraduates program titled “Interdisciplinary Approach to Sustainable Biobased Products and Energy Development” at Oklahoma State University. 
 At OSU-REU site undergraduate students will:
  • Learn about the scientific processes and procedures required to conduct bioproducts and bioenergy research 
  • Understand the importance of an interdisciplinary environment in developing bioproducts and bioenergy production systems 
  • Explore the role of bioproduct and bioenergy research in a global society 
  • Develop professional skills that are necessary for a successful career 
  • Discover graduate studies and careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) related disciplines, specifically those related to biobased products and energy 

This program is hosted under the auspices of Biobased Products and Energy Center at OSU

Application Deadline: March 1, 2016 

Program Dates: May 31 – July 29, 2016
